Mission Statement: "We promise to make the best use of our resources to develop the academic and social potential of both student and community."

In all buildings, we strive to support the mission statement via creative teaching techniques, continued curriculum review, school improvement teams and a community/school approach (Project SHARE).

A variety of student programs is offered to the pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade population. Seniors graduate in one of five areas: general education, special education, business education, vocational education or college preparatory. Also, as an alternative, students may attend the Mid-Town campus and graduate with a Mancelona diploma.

The Mancelona school system is located in Antrim County, about 35 miles northwest of Traverse City and 22 miles west of Gaylord. The district encompasses about 135 square miles of lakes, rivers and rolling hills. Excellent fishing, golfing, skiing, hiking and hunting are available for outdoor enthusiasts. Shopping facilities are a short drive away, and several beautiful resort developments are located within the district.
